ETUC Resolution on Reporting and Regulation of Nanotechnologies and Nanomaterials
On June 26, 2008, the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) passed a resolution on nanotechnologies and nanomaterials, and urged the European Commission (EC) to add a series of new nanotechnology regulations under REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) in areas of Worker Protection, Consumer Health and Safety, and R&D.
